Coverflow problem on 32gb

Hi
Can anyone throw any help? When I am scrolling through album covers in coverflow the screen just goes black and then goes back to menu screen.
Anyone any idea why it should be doing this.

Want to edit this to say - not just on coverflow - no matter what you are doing it just keeps going back to the menu screen. Annoying to say the least

try a reset first (press both of the buttons at the same time until the apple logo comes up) and if that does not work, you may want to try a restore of the ipod, though this will require you to sync everything on it again. This happens to my touch occasionaly when I am on safari, though that I think is due to it running out of memory. I am not sure why it would do that when you are in coverflow.

Thanks for your reply. I actually turned off machine with the slider and then rebooted it.
Seems to be OK now.
