Hey everybody,
First off, I would like to say that I am a n00b. ;) I apologize in advance if this topic is covered elsewhere. I checked around a lil bit.
I am wondering how to access WiFi from my house with my iPod touch. I know that to do this, you need a wireless router. I believe I have one of these, but it is in no way connected to my computer as of now (nor am I sure of how to go about doing that).
I have a LINKSYS Wireless-B Broadband Router, 2.4 GHz 8902.11b), Model BEFW11S4. Do you have any idea whether or not this will do the trick? If so, where should I start? If not, what will I need?

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it!
P.S. Do you believe that the price of the January software upgrade will go down in the foreseeable future?
P.S. What is this dumb white dock with a USB hole that came with my iPod?

Hey, first off, search for you wifi answer, the topic is covered many places.

For your first PS...I doubt the price of the app pack will go down in anyway, other users thoughts I am sure will be reflected.

Your second PS, the white thing is the dock adapter, and it is used when docking the ipod to a cradle, like an OEM apple dock. Hope this helps. Welcome! Cheers!

Regarding your Wi-Fi router, it SHOULD work, but it'll be significantly slower than an 802.11g router... It'll do the trick if you want to at least get online for the time being. I'd suggest going to the Linksys website and find the setup software and online manuals/FAQs for setting it up.

11Mbit/s vs. 54Mbit/s = 802.11g FTW :D
