View Full Version : Jailbreak, then 1.2.0
If I jailbreak my iPod touch, and then and accidentally don't restore before 1.2.0 comes out, I know I can't upgrade directly due to the risks, but if I restore to 1.2 instead of upgrading, should I be fine?

it's not 1.2.0 but 2.0 and yes, you should be fine ;-). But there is a 99.9% chance that you will be fine even if you don't restore before you upgrade. so it doesn't really matter.
Actually, blackwolf, it is 1.2
Steve Jobs is calling it 2.0 because it is not another 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 update, but if you run the OS simulator for iPhone OS 2.0, and with the betas, they all read version 1.2 (which is to say 1.2.0)
