Any update on when/if there will be any games available for downloading? Mahong?

No. Apple hasn't released the SDK yet and there have been no official announcements other than we should see it "in February" and some rumors that it's been delayed 1-3 weeks. Right now you have two choices -
1. Web-based games - http://www.apple.com/webapps/games/
2. Jailbreak games (and there is a Mahjong solitaire, but it's awful hard to see all those bricks on the screen)
