I know there were issues before when Apple tried to sneak in a cheaper lcd when the iphone and touched first came out. I also know that manufacturers often use different lcd screens for the same product. So which one you get ends up being a bit of "luck of the draw".
So I'm wondering, is Apple still trying to sneak in cheaper lcds? I see some people say the 32gb has a better lcd, but others say no. And I see others say they have a recent 16gb model that comes with the software upgrade that they believe has screen issues. So is there any clear answer on what is going on?
And does anyone know how to tell if you got one with a nice screen? I know quality is subjective so the same person may say two different things about the same screen, but are there pictures you can compare on a computer monitor or such to check?
