Many though SDK would come out today.

Instead a bug-fixing 1.1.4 firmware came out.

There was a rumor that the iPod touch and iPhone would go down $100 today.

Instead the iPod Shuffle went down in price.

Well, this sucks! :shake:

Hahaha, they aren't going down in price until sales drop a little. And I'm sure they aren't letting up very much.

I also had high hopes that the SDK was coming out today...until they were shattered by the delay. Is the iPhone going to be an AT&T exclusive for eternity? I would like to see it offered by more carriers since AT&T doesn't have the best coverage in my area...anyways, I suppose we have to patiently wait for the SDK to arrive yet again....

AT&T has an exclusive on the iPhone for 5 years. It's not eternity, but in the high-tech space, it might as well be...

Wow, complaining about rumors not coming true eh? Well that is rumors for you and Apple rumors are the worst as everyone always reports that their "insiders" have the scoop on the information when in fact their "insiders" are nothing more than people making "theories." You will learn fast to never trust any Apple rumor unless there is concrete evidence to back it up. It was rumored that the iPod touch was actually going to come out in 2006. Instead we were greeted with a 5.5G iPod. That was actually a bigger let down than the delay of the SDK or a price drop.
