itouch woes in iraq! please help!

so i ordered a brand spankin new itouch 32gig from amazon as soon as i saw it come up...

1 week of use and i fell in love..

currently my 4th ipod, and ive had no issues with the previous 3.

until.. i unlock it one time and BAM.. a strip on the lower half of the screen refuses to work.. which is pretty much the 2nd row of letters if you are typing.. also touch refuses to recognize any input randomly.. but always does after i bring it out of sleep...

a week.. and my itouch is failed.

i restored 4 times already to no avail...

i have never had to turn in an ipod for fixin... now im screwed with a 500 dollar paperweight.. anyone have any ideas for me?

well make sure its back to factory settings and head out to the apple store is all i can say.

E-mail Apple support and tell them about it, it is under warranty, I see no reason why they wouldn't help you.
