How safe is it to use your iPod touch for financial transactions??
I havent tried yet to go to bank sites and pay bills, check my acount balance, credit card transactions, make purchases (debit card), etc...

I use it only over my works wifi, and my home personal wifi for quick balance checks and possible clearances. I never use it on public or open wifi spots. I would assume an open spot would be unsafe, but then again, who knows.....safe side, only in trusted spots.

on your home network its as safe as it would be with a computer. but I would never ever do anything that important on any public network.

I agree with BlackWolf & Touchmyipod -- avoid accessing them in public spaces for your own safety.

I just avoid it personally. I just check it on my home computer. I'm not entirely sure how secure the iPhone is. Although, if you have a firewall on your router at home it should be safe.
