View Full Version : any1 else living in downtown toronto havin trouble finding free wifi public spots?
i was one time early for work and decided to hang around the eating area in the underground mall (the path) close to the td bank building, and test my ipod touch wifi feature.
Sadly all the wifi there is paid :(
The other wierd thing i noticed is there is this "free wifi" around downtown toronto, but my ipod cant connect to it.
WOW i think downtown toronto is the worst place to own an ipod touch especially if you want to use the wifi feature out of your house! llol

I have Wifi in my house.
In my grandmother's apartment, the new neighbors have an open router.
Outside of my house someone has an open router.

Free wifi hot spots are harder to find in Toronto. I would suggest this site. Its a free wireless network in Toronto. Although you do have to sign up for a user name and password first. Also here is another site that helps you find free wifi all over Toronto.

Also lots of Toronto Public Libraries are converting to free wifi, in addition best buy, future shop and ofcourse coffee shops have free wifi its all a matter of finding and connecting to them. Hope this helps.
