I'm pretty sure that everyone uses their iPod touch most as music player.

I can only choose one? I am working multitasks with mine. Of course, listening to music is very basic. I also do internet, send emails, check them, watch&listen podcast, check google maps, stock market, weather, and write something on notes. They happen everyday. These are mostly I do. Oh, view photos as well.

Music, internet is not available all that often to me..in fact I haven't even used it because at work I can get online through their computers and when I'm at home I can use a much faster desktop PC rather than a iPod.

If I had to pick one it would be Podcasts, usually video podcasts. It's quite handy for following some other net news podcasts show notes while watching on the TV though my Apple TV. I can follow Diggnation's story links on the net when I'm watching the HD version of the Podcast on my TV while relaxing in the easy chair. I also use the Notes, Stocks and Calander Apps quite extensively as well.
Even though I do occasionally listen to music on it, I would have to say it is fairly rare. I have other iPods dedicated to music.

Didn't like being able to choose only one. I do all of those pretty much every day. I keep it in my pocket at all times.

I use my touch mainly for video playback. While I do have a reasonably sized TV, I work all day sitting behind a computer, and watching TV-shows dvds on the touch laying down is a very relaxing. I use it with a Bose QC2 headset, so the wife can watch her lifetime-movie-network stuff or Dr. Phil, while I watch my own stuff.

Far from it. As incredible as the Touch may be, it is easily Apple's worst music player due to the lack of physical buttons or remote options. After months of trying to convince myself that Apple did nothing wrong and I'M the problem, I finally gave up and bought a Nano. And that was the right thing to do because the Nano goes with me everywhere while the incredibly powerful Touch gets demoted to the backpack and is used as a PDA/Email device.
Since I bought it at a warehouse store and could still return it then I'm heavily considering dumping the Touch for a few months. With the SDK delays and the inevitable pricedrops then the smartest thing for potential buyers to do is to wait until this matures as a platform. But one thing for sure is that I will NEVER use this as my primary music player.

I'd have to disagree with you there. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on what they think the worst iPod is. I absolutely love the fact there are no buttons (aside from the home screen and lock buttons).
I use mine primarily as a music player, occasionally watching a video or two.

I hardly use my Touch for music, it's all video, web browsing, mail, notes, you tube, and did I say email. Wifi is so crazy available here in Los Angeles, connecting is never an issue, if I do listen to music it's whil I have it docked in my car.

Same here. I often multitask as well - listening to music while browsing the web or checking mail. I voted for the "mail" option because that's what I find myself doing most often BESIDES listening to music itself.
And I must say that I use the PDA function very frequently, too. I've tried different PDAs and handheld devices in the past, all to no avail. The iPod touch is drastically different and I feel like this _is_ the device for me.

I'm pretty sure that everyone uses their iPod touch most as music player.I'm right there with Mini.Boss.
While I find the iPod touch is acceptable as a music player, I certainly prefer my iPod classic in terms of sound quality, playlist organization (nested playlists), and onscreen info for my tracks.
I do use my iPod touch - daily - as my mobile web platform. So that makes web browsing, hands-down my number one use for it. Heck, my wife even uses it to bring up recipes from Yahoo! Food or Food Network, and just props up the screen on the kitchen counter (using the little stand that comes with all iPod touches) rather than printing off the recipe, and wasting a sheet of paper.
