I used an fm transmitter yesterday for the first time with my iPhone and now I get no volume from the external speaker when playing music. Does anyone know how to fix this? It thinks I still have headphones in...

Reset your phone, that should fix your problem.

The first thing that I did was a reset. That didn't work. I recently ran across a post that described a similar problem and they said that they believed that it was a bug/glitch where sometimes the removal of headphones is NOT detected by the iPhone. The poster recommended to try inserting and removing headphones until the iPhone detected the change. I tried this and it worked after about the 3rd time. So, I guess I'm good to go...for now...
