Hey I just got my iPod touch and I upgraded to 1.1.3
I thought you were supposed to be able to move the icons around!? Do you need the 20 dollar "January Software upgrade" to be able to move your icons around or what??
Yes, you need the update.

Make sure you press and hold one of the icons. that will cause them to wiggle and then you can move them.

So I do need that update huh?
Question: How about if Iet that update and update a jailbroken ipod touch.... will it still be jailbroken once I update?
If you haven't purchased the $20 upgrade you're going to be waiting a long time for them to wiggle.
Yes, the upgrade is basically an unlocking of programs already stored on the ipod. The problem I found was that I couldn't downgrade to 1.1.1 once I had applied the update if I wanted to keep my setting.
