Problems with text entry in Safari

Just recently whenever I am playing around on various forums and am entering replies my text entry really slows down. It all goes in the buffer but after entering a couple of words I have to wait for it to catch up. I don't have this problem in SMS or E-mail mode.

I've cleared the cache and the cookies etc....and it's still running slow. Web pages diaplay fine in the time you'd expect and there's no difference between EDGE of Wi-Fi....

Anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing it or even better how to resolve the problem.

Make sure you wait for the web page to fully load before typing.

or what I do on a lot of sites is just hit the X to cancel the page load if I only need the text field.
