I just got an iPod touch and I am clueless ! My computer is older and doesn't have much space, so I can only download 4-5 cd's before a warning pops up about disc space running low. I can sync the songs onto the ipod with no problem, but then I have to delete those songs of of itunes and then download a few more cd's The problem I am running into is, when I sync those songs to the ipod, the first set of songs get deleted. Is there a trick to not deleting what you already have on it ? I have tried reading through that troubleshooting manual and I can't figure it out ! Can anyone help me ????!!

Assuming you're using the latest version of iTunes:
Connect iPod, open iTunes.
Select your device to display the screen with tabs running across the top (Summary, Music, Movies... etc...)
Scroll down to the Options section of the Summary tab. Select the "Manually manage music and videos" option.
Press the Apply button in the bottom right hand corner.
You can now import music into your iTunes library and manually drag it to your iPod. After doing so music can be deleted from your PC's iTunes library without the files being removed from your iPod as well.

seriously, if you have that low space left on your computer, you should definetly delete something or buy a larger hard drive. having that few disc space left isn't good.

Gotta agree with Blackwolf. You can pick up a 250GB external USB hard drive for under $100 if you look around... that's room for a LOT of music and videos, and space to backup your computer without burning a ton of CDs...
