installer not working?

everytime i try to download something it says download failed cant connect to host. what am i doing wrong. im connected to wifi and ive installed a bunch of stuff it just started this afternoon

I think the installer is actually down somehow - won't work for me either and won't update sources.

Same here. Don't know why but it must be an issue with 1.1.3 since the installer doesn't automatically update itself and every source can't be down at the same time.

Maybe Apple silently blocked it?

Nope - seemed to be working fine for me. You guys sure you're not out of application space? 1.1.3 takes up almost the entire app partition...

100% certain.

It won't download or refresh sources. Usually it can at least refresh sources. That and I have no applications installed anyway except MobileScrobbler and Term-vt100.

mine goes through the refresh and bosstool says i have 43 mb left so im not out of space but i cant download anything

nym11: Do you have anything showing in your 'Recent Packages' list? If so, are there many items or just one or two?

I had a similar issue after using Ziphone to unlock an otb 1.1.2. When I entered numbers into the keypad or opened sms, the phone crashed to the homescreen. When I tried to download iworld through installer, it would crash halfway through the download. I followed the instructions on this thread http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=220983 and installed BSD Subsytem and a program for using phone in countries where not sold and phone now functioning without issues. Cheers to user writing the thread!!
