I'm looking to buy the ProFit iPhone Holder, but I want to know if it will fit my iPod that has the InCase skin on it. The InCase skin makes it a little bit bulky, and the ProFit looks like it might be a little to tight of a squeeze.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, which of these two options (http://i.nconspicuo.us/2008/02/07/usa-spec-pa11-hon2y-vs-honda-music-link-for-iphone-and-ipod-touch/) would users recommend for Hondas?

Yes. I'm also interested in this option and have an iphone case as well.

Anyone have any feedback?

I haven't heard anything yet, but I went ahead and ordered the ProClip swivel for the iPhone. I'll let you know how it works out.

Thanks Brendo.

I just purchased a vent mount on Amazon for 20 bucks.

I'll let you know how it is.

FYI I'm driving a 2001 honda accord.

Hey zeedee... I looked at that mount, but it didn't swivel - I want to be able to view my iPhone horizontally and vertically so that I can use the iPod in list mode and in cover flow mode.

Let me know how that mount works out for you though.

Check out the iGRIP website: http://www.igrip.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49_1_403_404&products_id=25

According to iGRIP it should rotate 360.

The model on the iGRIP site is 1230/1582... the same as is listed on amazon in the Product Details.

I should get mine by next week. I'll let you know if it's any good. :-)

I believe in the iLounge review the editor mentioned that it would not fit with a case. Regardless, I just ordered on myself and like brendo will let everyone know.

Just an update. The iPhone holder will NOT fit with a case. It was a tight fight even without the case (I have an invisible shield on mine). It definitely works as advertised and was a snap to install.

Hey guys.

The vent mount is pretty good. I've been using it for 3 days now. It fits my iphone perfectly with case and everything. It also adjusts wee for other items like regular ipods or a blackberry/other cell phone.

The only downer is that it doesn't "swivel" at all.

You can "readjust" it so the iphone sits horizontally but it's not very intuitive. To do this you actually have to pull the mount off of the vent, readjust the vent grips on the back of the mount and then stick the mount back on the vent. It takes a couple of minutes to readjust. And every time I readjust it I feel like I'm either going to break the little plastic vent grips or break my vents off completely. I stopped readjusting and just use it vertically.

All in all though it's pretty good. Using it vertically is fine. You just have to learn to scroll up and down through your albums using the menus instead of scrolling left and right through the pretty album covers. :-)
