I am thinking about upgrading from my iPod 30GB video to the new 16GB iPhone. However my Saab only has an auxiliary input on the dash and I had purchased this Monster adapter (http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Ultra-Low-iCharger-AICHG2-IP/dp/B00015GYTU) from Amazon, which includes a line out from the dock connector. Has anyone used this charger with an iPhone and had the audio work? I have read that most adapters with lineout from the dock connectors are not passing the sound out of iPhones. Any ideas if this particular charger might be one of the lucky few that still passes sound?

It doesn't say so specifically in the description, but if you browse monster's site it says it is compatible with iPhone/iPod Touch

Small chance you might get a "not compatible warning, want to go into airplane Mode" warning...
Aha:
Quick Tips: The following product will work with the iPhone, but with limited functionality, will charge the iPhone but the audio output port is non operational.

That stinks. Will the line out work if the iPhone is in Airport mode?

You'll need to contact the company on that one. If it did I think they would have mentioned as such on the "quick tip" but they don't.
