I have a 07 Chevy Silverado and it has a small jack thing in the dash right under the radio, the button above it says CD/AUX. Is this a stock ipod connection. If not what would be the best thing to get to play it in my truck?

should work go get a cable and try it out. i have a cd player with AUX and thats what i use for my ipod. basicly its for anything you want the sound to play through the car speakers. i assume its a 3.5mm jack so go buy a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable hook it up, hit the cd/aux/source/input (or w/e yours says) and it should play. a pic of your radio would help too but i think above mentioned method will work.
p.s. i know for a fact wal-mart carries a belkin 3.5 to 3.5 for like 3 or 4 $

ok this is for GM,Chevy,vehicles
if there is a band button you have the option of xm or Sirius your radio is XM READY
if there is a CD/AUX button your radio is ready for a dvd rear entertainment system
to get a aux port on the radio you plug this into the 12 pin plug, this will give you audio input from any source IPOD mp3 anything

now if you want to control the ipod from the gm radio use this next link, all the ipod text will be display on the radio.
if you have xm your xm1 will be xm your xm2 will be the ipod
if you have steering wheel control ,they will also control the ipod and there is one more aux INPUT IN THIS DEVICE
