Do anyone have any experience with the Peripheral ISAS71 in car solution? I just installed on in my Toyota 4 Runner and I'm having some problems.

Thanks!

the Peripheral ISAS71 is one of the older ipod interface made, it works but there are some issues like the unit not stopping when you turn off the ignition and also overcharging the ipod
this unit works ok with most old ipods from last year, there is going to be more problems on the iphone, itouch and the new nano video ,

if the unit is not to old you can call Peripheral and they will upgrade to the new unit

The unit is installed and working with my IPOD Touch. My problem is the volume level that it outputs. I have to crank my head unit up almost all the way to get a decent audio level. Just wondering if this was normal. I called Peripheral before I purchased and they said this was the unit I needed for my vehicle.

try any other ipod and also adjust the volume on the ipod menu
i know this unit is not fully compatible with the itouch
