So I was jailbroken on 1.1.2 and i decided to try out 1.1.3 but found that I couldn't download maps or any of the other apps I liked before. I downgrading to 1.1.1 but it said I was running out of space so I tried restoring it first. It restored but now when I try to downgrade my ipod keeps ejecting and showing the ipod plug into itunes screen. Every time I reconnect it says I must restore the ipod before it can be used in itunes. What is wrong and what can I do?

Well, you are going to have to restore your iPod touch. You can try restoring it in iTunes without downgrading it (ie use the latest firmware). If that doesn't work then you need to plug your iPod touch into your computer, close iTunes, and hold the power and home buttons (on the iPod touch) at the same time until the screen goes black. Let go of the power button once the screen goes black but keep holding in the home button. Keep the home button pressed until your computer finds new hardware. You can then open iTunes once the new hardware is installed and restore the iPod. You can downgrade it by holding the shift key while pressing the restore button (this will allow iTunes to look for firmware other than what is in the default directory) and pointing iTunes to an old firmware.
