I have a 2006 Winnebago View which is based on a Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter van. I first installed a 4gen40. But have moved up to a 6gen160. This install also works with my wifes Nano, it clips onto the 30 pin connector its loose but works. The 6th gen fits well and we, have had no problems. The View comes with a Clarion DXZ555MP, It has a RCA AUX jack in the back. So I went to Radio Shack and got a RCA to 1/8 pin cable. next I got a Belkin model F8V7058-APL power cable and from Proclips I got a model 853299 mount and their model 840653 powered holder for the Belkin power cable. First I plugged the RCA-1/8 pin into the head unit then I plugged the cable into the output of the Belkin adapter. Next I mounted the Proclips mount/holder to the Belkin cable. Now it gets tricky, because the Winny has 2 power sources one when your going down the road (chassis/engine) and one when you are at camp (house/batteries). So I have an aux fuse panel that I installed under the passenger seat. It also supplies power to the cell phone booster (Wilson Electronics),cell phone rechargers, the lap top (mounted on a RAM mount) and GPS. I grabbed power from the power solenoids in the lift panel under the floor between the front seats. If your going to attempt this be damn sure you know how to read a wiring diagram and have a multimeter. I got the diagram from Winny's web site. Anyhow I pulled 2 hot wires and put them on a 2 way switch mounted on the passenger seat pedestal (near the floor) I then got a car power extension cord from Auto Zone. I clipped the male end off and wired it to the fuse panel then I plugged the Belkin unit in. I then used a liberal amount of electrical tape (I know its a rig but didn't feel like taking things apart and putting them in a hobby box) and taped everything down, including the volume control. The wires are all tucked behind the center console and dash and also in a plastic tube that goes from the center console to the under the passenger seat. I installed a bunch of other stuff at once so not sure how much time it took.
