I am currently looking for an inexpensive pair of over the ear headphones. I have heard good things about Sennheiser and I am looking at these three. The 201s and the 150s would be around $25 and the 201s slightly less. Does anybody have any experience with any of these or can someone recommend something else in the range? I'm a student so I'm not looking to spend more than about $30.

don't buy the 201's they are very light on bass and thye suck, pardon the language! i'd go for the HD202's.

think about the JBL refernce 410's as well. not a open as the Sennheisers, and maybe not as comfortable (the clamoping effect is quite hard) but they can kick in the low stuff, and they're portable.

but other than that, get the 202's

I've got some 201's they are ok for the price of about £15 although they aren't very sensitive, meaning they take a lot to drive them. The bass is ok but not overpowering if that's what you are looking for.

They aint the best sounding headphones, but they sound almost as good as my Shure E2C's cause they are a different class of headphone (decent small headphones) cost more for the equivalent proce quality. I only use mine in the bath as I don't give a monkeys if I get them wet, and they have a 3M long lead.
