Did anyone buy a mini dock or armband? if so how do you like them. Worth the money?

Yeah...I ordered a dock...haven't gotten it yet, missed the delivery, it was rescheduled for Monday. Is the dock worth $40...I'd say so. It might be a little steep for some, because you technically don't need it...but it's nice to have. I really like having the iPod stand up when it's connected...also like have the audio out jack on the back for some speakers.

And I will be ordering the Armband...another guy I know got one, and said it's great! Perfect for jogging, working out, etc. But I do think the Armband is too expensive....I'll still get it though. haha

I got the dock and the remote - remote might have been a bit of a waste.... I'll need to use it more to get a good feeling.

As for the dock, I like it the convienence of having someplace to sit the mini when I am not using it. This is my first iPod, so I can't compare it to the original dock.

I received the dock and am a little disappointed - unable to play Mini while its inthe dock (without disconnecting the usb card) and mini does not charge when the PC is off (running dock thru a powered 2.0 hub)

I have the armband, it's really nice and adjustable. I like to put it in upside down and adjust it lower on my arm, like on my forearm. That way if I wanna change songs, I don't have to contort my arm to see the screen, I can just look down at my forearm between my elbow and wrist and make the change.

I have both, but I don't have my iPod yet so I can't really tell you how well they work. They both look really cool though!

I was planning to buy a dock but later learned that it didnt come with a Firewire cable AND audio cable for stereo connection, I mean just a dock for 40 bucks, NO WAY!

Yes and No.

Yes: The Firewire cable does come with the iPod. You plug this into one end of the dock, and the other end plugs into the firewire port on your computer.

No: Neither the iPod nor the dock come with a mini-to-RCA cable to hook the dock up to your home stereo.

I have the armband and really dig it. Check the mini gear forum for my review.

Is there a way to just get the Remote and not an extra pair of headphones?

I am just using the dock that came with my 3G iPod. I figure that I will buy an iSkin or something like it for the MiniPod. The larger 3G dock will work better for the iskinned MiniPod.

Just got the Armband! hehe It IS really nice! The band itself is really quality stuff....feels like neoprene. It has several spots to velcro for the perfect fit. And when the iPod is in there, and on your arm...you really barely feel it! Is it still worth $30...probably not, more like $15-20...but I don't regret purchasing it!

Here (http://homepage.mac.com/mintyfresh5/PhotoAlbum12.html) are some pics...

Now I'm just waiting for my Blue mini to get here! :D
