ok, so I bought the RCA cords connected them to my stereo and ipod. I can hear my ipod through the stereo but i can only turn up and down the volume with my ipod not the stereo. what does that mean and what can i do to make it work? pplleeeaassee pllleeaassee help.

1 - turn down stereo.
2 - turn up ipod about 90% max and leave it there.
3 - now adjust stereo volume to ur liking.

it means that you plug the rca jack on one of the rear or front rca outputs NOT INPUT
most of the pioneer radios don't have aux input, the input is on the blue square plug and you need this interface
