DLO Case for new Ipod..Just got it!

Since no one around here seems to own or desire an aftermarket case, I went ahead and bought one, a DLO action Jacket and it arrived today. About $30 plus $5 more for shipping and it is well worth it.

This case has a neoprene outer case, and a clear plastic front panel. The front panel is molded and die cut to allow for wheel and button control but, covers the screen for protection. It even has a cutout on the bottom for charging purposes but, I have no idea how the Ipod and the case will fit in the charger, maybe an extention adapter will be the answer for all of us with docks.

It has a locking/swiveling belt clip as well as an arm band. The clip is completely removeable so when you use the armband it is not attatched to the case making it lighter and sleeker.

For some reason the above link is for a NEO Pod, not the action jacket. The only difference between the 2 is the ability to use an armband (supplied) with the Action Jacket. Is it worth 10 bucks to have the armband, well thats up to you.

Wow! I was actually looking for a case for my new 30 GB ipod for using it in the car and I overlooked the DLO cases because I thought they didn't have the cutout on the bottom for the dock connector, which I would need for my Belkin car adapter. Now that you say they do, I may just end up getting that case (the one without the armband). Is it good quality?

What I don't understand is what the difference is between the DLO PodFolio Leather iPod Jacket (For New 10GB, 15GB and 30GB iPods) and DLO Leather iPod Protector with Swivel Belt Clip (For New 10GB, 15GB and 30GB iPods)? They look identical to me and are the same price. Between that and the website not mentioning the opening on the bottom, I think everythingipod.com needs to make some changes...

well i got the DLO Action Jacket with ARM Band and the product is okay.
it does have the bottem cut out for the dock but with the case you cant set the ipod on the dock, it wont fit. The only way is to use the AC adapter/ firewire but not the dock. The Feel is great but i dont know about the velco, its not secured enough that it will last. You have to fasten the velco at the right place in order to match the play through plastic with the ipod buttons.

I like the DLO Leather Pocket Protector but i dont think it has the thickness nor the feel as the Action jacket, its a hard choice to make so make a wise one
