I've read through the Murano area but I figured I'd ask this question for new Altima owners. I have an '08 Altima SL with Bose and XM installed. I'd like to install the genuine Nissan Part but before I dive in, I wanted to see if anyone on the board has completed the install.
I'm assuming I'd order the parts from www.yournissanparts.com and get the kit for Altima's with Satellite. The default mount seems to be in the glove box. Where do I go from there? Anyone have a link or photos of the step by step? How easy is it to get the head unit out, run the wires to the glove box, etc.
I've installed ipod interfaces in my old 03 Altima, a '04 Accord and an '06 Sunfire so I've been in and out of dashes before. I'm not a novice but before I start ripping my dash apart, I wanted pointers.
