Question for the new iPod mini owners

First and foremost, congrats on your purchase. I'm really jealous.

I stopped by my local CompUSA last night (no Apple stores in my area) and looked at the demo unit they had. I'm definately getting one to go with my 10g 3 gen.


However, there was no music on the demo unit. All workings, menu's, and games worked as did the backlight, but there was no music.


Does the new iPod mini come with the iTunes sampler songs? If so, are they new ones?

You know what, I'm pretty sure they dont have any preloaded music.

Mine didn't have any music on them either.

Nope...no music....didn't really bother me, after about 5 mins...I already had about 100 songs on it! hehe

thanks everybody. I'd much prefer to have my own music on there as well.

However, I did find it strange that they had the demo units without any pre-installed music but it was hooked up to speakers. hmmm
