(Questions) USA Spec PA11 HON installation in 2004 Honda Accord EX

I just had this installed today and it works great. I did think that I could get the song information to display on the factory radio but this model won't do this. Does anyone of an iPod interface that will display song info in a 2004 Honda Accord EX Sedan (No nav but with dual climate and 6 cd player in dash)?

I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure this is not possible. The stick head unit is not designed to do this. The only way to display the song/artist on the display is to get an aftermarket head unit. Some cars may support this, but I am pretty sure the Accord is not one of them.

I was figuring it could since I have the XM radio which displays song info.

U need the 'display' button on the HU I believe for it to work.

I have that. I just looked thru the manual of the USA Spec and it says song info is not supported. I wonder if there is a brand that does support it.

you have the old adapter the new uSA Spec PA12-hon2y
display all the ipod text on the honda radio , only if the honda radio is xm ready and the xm needs to be unplug

see if you can send back and exchange for the new version pa12-hon2y available since October 1997
