I want a new Mini!!!

This is my first post and I have been totally suckered in by the Mini! I want one so bad I can taste it. I just got my 3G 15gb the first of Jan. and wish I had waited for the Mini. I did not want to wait and now I am so upset over my haste. I like my pod, but would LOVE my Mini. I have toyed with the idea of selling my 15gb with the 4 cases and Belkin battery pack, but feel like I would regret it in the long run, and maybe will just wait and get a Mini in a few months. The only problem is my husband thinks I am nuts! Can't understand why I would want 2. I ask him why does he need 4 motorcycles, but of course, he says this is totally different. I guess I just need some affirmation that I will be happy with my 3g 15gb and not regret the keeping of it. I also had it engraved with my name on it and wondered how this would affect my chances of selling it.

i personally would pass on the engravement of someone else's name, but others might not care, used ipods go for as much as the new ones, maybe 10-30 dollars difference

Why don't you give it to your husband as a present and then buy a mini for yourself? :D

Oh my husband is not only computer illiterate, he is electronically challenged. He is from the mechanical era and can't even operate a VCR. I have all the digital stuff and gadgets. Thats why he can't understand my wanting another toy! If I had the best of all, I would just go out tomorrow and buy the darned thing, but being married you know you have to compromise. I guess I'll keep bugging him in subtle ways until he can't take it anymore and relents. I still wonder if there is any interest in my one month old engraved 15gb. But don't really want to part with it. How do you all that have both models justify the purchases?

You're probably gonna hate me then...HAHA...I just got my mini on Thursday, and already I'm thinking about buying a second one. My main justification for it is to have one hooked up, and docked to my Mac, and one to my PC. Also...for some silly reason, I just think it would be nice to have two. I also like the cool colors....I bought a Silver, but the Pink, and Green have grown on me!

just tell him the mini is a "heart rate monitor", and tell him it's for your health, you can tell him "hun, today.. the doctor..."

I really want the green one. I have that color in a motorscooter and just love green! I am still working on him and I told him that it is just a matter of time and I WILL get it! Will I use both, who knows but I'll have fun trying!!
