Only TRACK NUMBER on Head Unit When iPOD Is Playing

Greetings to all.

I have a 2007 RHD Honda Civic.

The Head Unit has 3 music input Buttons, AM, FM and CD/AUX.

The Head Unit is MP3/WMA compatible, as a matter of fact, when CDs are playing and the DISPLAY button is depressed, the Head Unit screen displays the TRACK NUMBER, NAME OF THE SONG, ARTIST, GENRE and ALBUM.

However, when the IPOD is playing, through the same CD/AUX input, the DISPLAY button is not functional and the Head Unit screen only display the TRACK NUMBER and the SONG DURATION.

Can anyone offer some assistance, please.

the radio will display text from the ipod only if you have a XM ready radio
THE IPOD IS PLUG IN to the xm port
if there is only cd/aux the ipod is plug using the cd changer port
unfortunately there is no text support from the cd changer port
