I am having problems with my Rogers Yahoo email account. I am unable to send emails and only recieve emails. I also called rogers tech support to confirm the correct setting for my email and everything was correct. Anybody else have this problem?
Thanks in advance,

Are you talking about a POP3 mail account, or webmail? If it's a POP3 account (you read/send with the Mail application, not a web browser), have you checked the outgoing port assignment? Mail clients are set up to use port 25 by default; Rogers may have port 25 blocked to help foil spambots.

I had the same problem, but Yahoo doesnt support POP for FREE, you have to pay for a POP Yahoo account, it's like $15 for a year or something, but Yahoo POP isn't free like Google, you have to pay for that....does that help?

I've got my Rogers email working, but it didn't at first. Here are the settings you need:
Host name: pop.broadband.rogers.com
Username: (just the name before the @ sign)
Outgoing SMTP Server: smtp.boadband.rogers.com
Use authentication and enter the full email address as the login name and the login password.

Thanks but I already got it to work...I called apple tech support early in the morning and they sent me some troubleshooting tips by email. Turns out i was using the whole email address as the username and using port 587 or 110 (which rogers told me to use).
This link is very helpful for anyone having trouble setting up their email accounts, it also tells you which ones are compatible.
