Hi all,
I did the 1.1.3 u.g. and did the $20 unlock thing.
In the last two days I've had iTunes throw up on my Touch twice with something like, "iTunes cannot read the iPod attached, please use restore". (OK, that's not the exact msg, but that's the gist)
This happens right after I've had the Touch on iTunes working fine. When I unplug it, I can no longer get it to boot up independently. I then plug it in, press the RESTORE button in iTunes and it fixes itself. I have to re-load my music and such, and can even import settings from a backup from the previous day. I'm running Windows Vista 32 and iTunes 7.6.xxx.
Btw, I use it all day at work playing music and it works fine. Just plugging it into iTunes seems to spawn this issue.
Any idea what may be going on? I don't see any messages here that anyone else is having a similar problem. I always use EJECT instead of pulling the cord too.
