I have heard that you're able to get lyrics for your songs on the touch with the new 1.1.3. Does it work. Please tell me how to do it :)

It doesn't mean that lyrics for all your songs will suddenly appear. It only means that lyrics that you have manually added through iTunes will appear on the iPod.

Does the update provide support for lyrics from podcasts? I know it does for music. I have over 800 epusodes of podcasts from iTunes, and most already come embedded in the episode. Can anyone test this out for me? Thanks!

*Sigh* Just bought the update, lyric/info for Podcasts isn't supported. This was the main reason why I bought the update. I'm extremely upset.

how do i see the lyrics?

like i have no idea which songs on my ipod have lyrics, and i dont see a new option that allows me to se the lyrics, yes i have updated to the new firmware and i have bought the new apps. but i do not see anything about the lyrics on my ipod

When the song is playing, tap on the screen. The controls with the song time/remain will appear. If the song has lyrics they will appear below on the same screen.

If you want to add lyrics, go to the song in Itunes, go the properties of the song, and you will see a Lyrics tab. You enter them there.

If you go to a song in your library, get the info on it, there is a tab for lyrics. Add lyrics there or notes or anything you like really.

Then sync your device to itunes. Play the song. When viewing in album art mode (not coverflow or track listing) a single tap will bring up the length display and shuffle buttons, etc, but now over the coverart you will see the information you put in the lyrics tab of the song.

It's really unbelievable that you have to pay $20 for this, when it has been a standard feature on all iPods w/ displays for a long time.

I don't understand why lyric support was dropped in the first place, its been supported in other models from what I understand..why have the most expensive iPod not have it?
