Having trouble sending mail on Yahoo! with new app

The mail app will not send my mail through Yahoo! even though I am receiving it fine. It says something about the outgoing server being "null." Has anyone else experienced this?

I have this problem too! Everything is great, hell of a handy app, but I just can't send, is it perhaps Yahoo's problem, or me and this other ilounger's? Thanks for the help too....i tried to delete account and resign up, but that didnt do anything! Did you try that kinex?

Have you checked to see if the outgoing server is set up correctly in the Mail settings for your Yahoo account? I don't have a Yahoo account myself, but I see from a Google search that many iPhone users have had issues with Yahoo mail account settings, so you may also want to try doing a search in the iPhone section of the forums to see if anyone has a good answer there as well. No I haven't tried to redo the set up but I may try deleting my account and setting it up manually.. But now that in thinking about it that won't work because Yahoo! doesn't support free POP or whatever but it's supposed to work on the iPhone if you use Apple's set up. Jailbroken touches couldn't use Yahoo! accounts in the mail app either so maybe Yahoo! hasn't worked everyhing out for supporting the touch..

Sorry, that isn't written very well, but I'm on my touch now and I'm not spending that much time to fix it.
