Ouch! Lyrics take up lots of space

So I wanted to check out how lyrics look on the Touch... I guess this is new to the 1.1.3 firmware. It does look cool but after using the tool Corripio to update my library (it found lyrics for about 900 out of 2000 songs in my iTunes library) I discovered that all of those lyrics took about 3 gigs of space on my Touch! How is that possible!?!?! How could lyrics take up so much space?

if they are formatted in word somehow i could see it happening *chuckle*
but really i have no idea..cuz the first thing i thought of sounds ridiculous.

There is no way, text is about the smallest format you can grab. one character is 1 byte..that means lyrics with 3,000 letters (approx. 500 words avg. 6 characters each) would be 3K in size. I don't know what that program is doing but that can't be right. 3GIGs is 3,000,000,000 characters which is about 500,000,000 words..that can't be right.

yeah.... my bad. it seems that the Touch dropped the music files and resynced them.
