I recently bought the Coby Earphones but even the treble and voices are lacking with these headphones...

Is there a pair of in-ear headphones that is $15 or less that doesn't drown out the voices? Are the Phillips SHE9500s good?

I would like quality comparable to that of the Apple In-Ear Headphones but not that expensive. I used to have the Apple ones but they got stolen, but for the time I had them, I loved the sound quality. Thanks for the help!
Ya get what you pay for mate.

you will get what you pay for. However, I'll suggest you spend extra $ for audio technica earbuds. It's worth to spend the different.

Any suggestions though? I want a decent, expendable pair of in-ear headphones...

You might check out Koss: http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/p?openform&pc^eb
I've had a couple of the street style, but never tried the earbuds/canal 'phones myself......

forgive me, but at that price, I'd rather get a pair of Sennheiser PX30's or eh-150's.

you could try these pair of refurbished Sennheiser CX300 (bottom of page) but at that price, i wouldn't count on them being the genuine thing, or in full working order!

FYE currently has Philips virtual surround in-ear phones (SHE5920) for $15.
They're better than many products that cost significantly more, but they don't have a phone interface.

NO! I had a pair of those Philip's headphones, they were the biggest pile of crap I have EVER heard. The buds were too damn small meaning they sounded as tinny as someone sat next next to you with their Ipod headphones on full blast, pumping out some god-awful dance music.
I bought em during my break at work, because I was desparate, and they cost £35 back then. I threw them in the bin in disgust. If i'd heard them I wouldn't have paid 50p.
