After cleaning my ER6i three flange tips which were very waxy I set them out to dry and placed them back on the sensors a few hours later. When I began to listen to music again I noticed that the sound was not as loud. I can't tell that anything is wrong and am getting a good seal but doesn't sound quite right to me. I am wondering if the inside of the flange tips was still a bit wet and this made the sensors wet causing the volume output to go down. If this is the case I'm wondering if this is something that will fix itself if I let the sensors dry and make sure that the insides of the tips are 100% dry before using. Also, is there anyway I can tell when it is time to replace a sensor? I've had these IEMs for 10 months without replacing the sensors.
