I recently bought a Ripspeed CMR i-3000 and had no problems installing it into my car, however when it came to plugging in the cable that goes from the back of the HU to the Ipod I accidentally bent one of the pins in the cable and when I tried to straighten it the pin snapped.
on one end of the cable its a normal Ipod connector, on the other its an eight pin Din plug, and when I tried the Ipod all seemed fine, however after a few days of use I have found a fault, whenever I search through the albums it always stops at a certain album and I cant view anything after it (it searches through the albums alphabetically)
However if I do a search through the artists it manages to find all the artists and I can then listen to the albums that I previously wasnt able to find when I first searched.
My question is (finally) could the fault be woth the cable not having that all important pin and if so does anyone know if its possible to buy the cable seperatly, I've done some searches on Google etc. and unfortunately cant find anything.
