Hi,
I just recently got myself a new iPod classic and the apple earphones blow.
So.. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good quality earphones for under 50 dollars?
I'm not looking for something top of the range just anything thats better than the stock earphones.
All I really want is a really clean and crisp sound.
Could anyone help me out here?
Thanks!

An FYE store near me had them on sale for $10.00. I picked up 3. Could not resist. They are great for working out.

pianoman,
you picked up 3? Does this mean they wear out easily? I'm leary of buying earphones that dont strap around the ear because i would mainly use them for working out (lifting weights, running alot). Do they stay pretty snug on without falling out? I also, sweat alot. My koss earphones went to #### after not too long because of the sweat cloggin up the earphones.
$30 on skullcandy.com Wish i knew of a store that carried these for cheaper....

I went through 3 pair of $50. Sony phones in about 8 months. 3 pair of Koss in about the same. When I saw these I picked up 3 in anticipation. I am very hard on the phones when I work out. So far I am still on my first pair of Smoken Buds and have been using them for about 4 months. They fit pretty good. Have to push them in a few times during work out. I sweat a lot on my cardio work out and no problem yet. I am very impressed with these for the price. I have Bose TriPort OE for around the house and Shure Ec3 for quality isolated music.

Personally, I've always found that over-the-ear headphones in the 15-20 dollar range have always produced better sound than earbuds. I had a pair of cheap behind-the-neck, over-the-ear headphones I bought for $16 and I used them religiously until the left side went out. Even my Shure's don't match their quality.
Earbuds are a different story. The Sony earphones (forgot the name) are priced right around $49.99 and they were probably the best earphones I've had besides the Shures.
