Hey all, I figure one of you can help me, so here it goes:

I'm wondering how you scroll within a frame. Simple enough? Basically, if I have a frame like in my novell webaccess email browser, I can't seem to scroll within that individual frame (where there would be another scroll bar in IE). Anyway to do this? Am I simply retarted?

Good question, I'll have a play on the train and see if I can figure it out ;)

Just had a go, seems like you can't control frames at all mate.

Try scrolling with two fingers instead of one. That normally scrolls within frames, and works fine in my own Novell GroupWise WebAccess portal (and other similar frame-based web pages).

Jesse, I tested that out as well and it didn't work for me. I tried it on a stock vBulletin control panel.

Well, it only works when the entire page isn't already rendered. Within a vBulletin control panel, for example, the scrolling doesn't handle frames separately because the entire page has already been rendered, so even though in a normal browser you could scroll through each frame separately, the iPhone Safari browser doesn't let you do this. The frame-based scrolling only works when the content of a frame isn't already fully displayed, as would be the case in a pop-up window on some webmail systems.

You can find more information on it over in Using Safari on iPod touch and iPhone with websites containing frames (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=307063) on Apple's support site.
