Green Screen

When I watch videos or youtube on my Ipod Touch it looks like everything is green and not always though for youtube.

well, your own videos could just be encoded wrong, but if it happens on youtube a lot ...
what week is your ipod touch? (Settings->General->About->The 4th and 5th digit in your serial number).
I think I recall someone saying that ipods with weeks before 40 were sometimes faulty and that green videos were a problem with them.

does it happen very rarely at youtube or does it happen often?

It happens almost everyday and I bought a video from Itunes and the whole movie was green. I just looked and I do have a 3 year warranty I bought with the ipod so I think I may take it back. Also I have week 45.

strange thing, but if it happens a lot its most likely a faulty ipod, since it shouldn't happen. you can try doing a restore via itunes, maybe this helps.
I heard of some people having this problem because of a certain movie/clip the put on their iPod. maybe remove the movies from it and play a youtube video and see if it still occurs.
but in the end, you can always take it back and get a replacement or your money back, since it shouldn't happen.

yah i just called the help line and he didnt help worth a #### but i am restoring it right now so i will we if it still happens

I rented a move from iTunes and it plays with a green screen too. Also the movies I had ripped fomr DVD's so I could move to the iphone now all play in green screen although they used to play fine.
