New ipod touch question...help :)

So i am really confused. I have a new ipod touch and I have an album that is the exact same, and yet when I go to view the album in the carousel feature, it separates the album covers into two. I bought all four songs from itunes. Why is this? How can i get my ipod to recognize this is one album and not two?

look in itunes and make sure the album and artist are listed EXACTLY the same even a capital letter or anything could throw it off....

try this...hold ctrl key, and click on all 4 songs in itunes and after they are all highlighted right click and get info.....fill in the artist and album, and this will fill it in for all of them and then youll be 100% sure they are all the same.

ok, i found out the problem, but i dont see why it cant be fixed...

so one song is from the CD SINGLE and the other songs are from the album...now, the information as far as title, album, etc. are the SAME, so shouldnt the album cover be the same?

So lets say I have a double disc, and i just want to see them as one album cover instead of two on the cover flow thing...is there a way to do that? i have a few 4 disc cd's, i dont want the same cover 4 times

Yes that can be done.
When you right-click on a track (or mulitple tracks) and click "Get Info" and the second tab, Info. There is a option at the bottom that says "Part of a Compliation" Highlight that, and what ever the artist is, as long as the album title is the same, the artist can be anything. If you select the "Part of a Compliation" option though, the Album Artist will need to be Various Artists.

To the origional question, highlight all the tracks, right-click and Get Info. Second tab, Info and delete what ever is in the Album Artist box, and re-write the Artist. That should ensure that they're the same.
