simple question, can i use my ety 6i with the iphone?

sorry if this seems a stupid question but ive seen that not all headphones can be used with the thing.

my er6i's don't fit into my iphone's headphone jack - you'd need to cut down the plastic around the plug to get them to fit... :(

or you could just buy this for the iphone that makes any headset fit as i would never cut the plastic on my headset , lol
