hi ive got the ipod 420 alpine car adapter installed in my car. does the iphone work with this kit?

Just wanted to put out there that I have the Alpine 9885 and my iphone works swimmingly with the Full-Speed Ipod connect function. I read some others saying they were having troubles manually searching songs/playlists/etc, but I've had NO problems!
