Hey everyone, I've seen all the videos on Youtube sayin th Ipod Touch can't be scratched, well thats a bunch of bull cuz mine has two scratches which aren't too noticeable but still anoying. Is there any thing i can do to remove scratches and does the extended warrenty cover sratches?

Thanks

Warranty doesn't cover damaged caused by you typically, so I doubt scratches would be covered. No idea of any tools to fix glass scratches - look at a car/auto parts start for something to fix windshield glass.

And for all those people who actually believe those videos - the iPod Touch is made of glass not DIAMOND...

Well those videos are far from realistic...your iPod Touch will get scratched it isn't scratch proof..its pretty well scratch resistant but not proof.

Sand has a higher chance of scratching your screen that razorblades would or car keys. Those videos are misleading as far as I'm concerned.

You can use some of those eyeglass buffering kits, but to be honest you should just call it a day and save what you can from now on. I(just guessing) think it might get rid of scratches, but decrease shiny factor. I actually have a tip for you, which i constructed in this thread. Paranoidxe, DerekVOF, and me were discussing our opinions so you can decide what's best for you.

Have you tried a screen protector? (If not, why?) A lot of them will actually hide minor scratches in the glass by covering them up. Also, if you have a scratch already, use a screen protector to prevent from getting more!
