i got overcharged for phase?

i was pondering for a while whether or not to buy it, but i finally decided to bite the bullet and get phase. i had $20.10 balance on my iTunes account before i bought Phase. after i bought Phase, it says I only have $14.71 left??? Phase is supposed to be $4.99, but that comes out to be $5.39. is there tax on Phase? I know it's only 40 cents, and I really don't mind that much, I was just kind of wondering what happened.

I think that it all depends on where you live and your local tax rates but yes you will pay tax on things downloaded from iTunes. I have never purchased a game but I know that for every song I download I am charged $1.07 and albums are $10.66.

It all depends on where you live. For me, I get charged $4.99 + tax for games, but 99¢ (no tax) for songs. If you use a shopping cart in the iTunes Store, look there after you've added a few items to it. It'll say at the bottom (next to the "Buy Now" button), "Total: $XX.xx + applicable sales tax."

There is different tax codes across the board for states for music, videos, and games (i.e. software). You may be in a place where they charge tax for games, but not other media.

an A-? ive been playing it for a while now on hard, and its getting kind of repetitive... so id give it an A--, because its inbetween a B+ and an A-

Sometimes I get taxed for stuff, sometimes I don't, but most of the time I don't. But I bought Phase and I'd pay all the money in the world for it. :)
