list of new apps

is there anywhere to go to find out new apps that come out because recent apps doesnt work very well. also is there an aim app where u can create your own away message instead of just saying away?

I don't think there's a central location. If you're hooked into all the sources, you should see the latest. You can find the Ultimate List of Sources over at iPod Touch Fans Forum.

And, I don't think so for AIM - the IMs for the iPod Touch are pretty poor. The online IMs (like Meebo and Beejive) are better than the native ones at this point... Kind of sad really...
