Cannot add photos, please help!!

I've asked this question before with zero answers.

Maybe no one understood, or no one wanted to answer so I’ll ask again, differently & hopefully I'll get a response this time.

I know when the iphone imports pictures it is "supposed to" automatically adjust & scale them for viewing.

If this is the case, why do I get the "some of the photos were not copied because they cannot be viewed" error message & of the few that ever make it to the phone, they always have noise.

I have Vista & I see that you can take pics out of the iphone with the file manager, but it will not let you add folders, or anything to the iphone, odd!

So people, I implore you, what program aside from itunes, effectively allows pics to be imported to the phone, with out noise?

Or better yet, anyone know how to get around the iphone not letting me "in" through the file manager?
That way I could also add pictures.

What is the original format of the photos in question, and were they taken with a specific model of camera?

iTunes does optimize photos prior to transfer to the Phone or iPod, but if there's something odd about the format that prevents it from reading a given photo, you will see an error such as the one above.

I assume that you can view these photos properly on your computer? You may want to try running them through a photo conversion utility to re-save them as proper JPEG files just in case there's a damaged header or somesuch that is preventing iTunes from processing them properly.

May I hijack this thread for a moment, please....

I'm trying to copy some photos over to my new iPhone 8G. It's just one folder with 25 pictures in it, each one .jpeg about 1.5mb in size and about 2000x1500 in dimension. But when the sync starts it never stops. As I type this, It's been connected and syncing for nearly an hour! I've tried this a few times and always the same result. If I uncheck the 'sync photos' box it completes in a minute or so without problems so I know the photos are what's causing the delay. Is this normal? How long does iTunes normally take to resize photos?
