Syncing just selected photos?

In iTunes 7.5 (Mac) there is an option to sync selected photos to the Touch.

For some reason I cannot select this.

I can choose the folder I want to sync with but it only gives me the "All photos" radio button option.

I searched and did not find an answer.

Perhaps you're using an old version of iPhoto? I'm not sure - I'm able to select individual albums that I want to sync...

I'm not using iPhoto at all. I thought I could just do selected pix from any folder. Is it an iPhoto-only option?

On the PC side, all you can do is sync specific folders. If you're not using iPhoto, I'd assume this would also be the case on the Mac side. You'll just have to put together a folder of the photos you'd like to sync.

just make a new folder and put the pictures you want on there, then just sync that with it. you dont even need iphoto. just make the folder, go into the ipod through itunes then go to photos and sync photos from and choose a folder. thats the closest you could get to selecting certain ones

K, that's what I ended up doing. Thought there may have been an easier way than duplicating parts of a folder LOL
