iPod Touch needs continuous video playback badly!!!!

I searched this forum and I thought I spell this out for those who got iPod Touches for Christmas and are wondering about the video playback features.


Well I got a iPod Touch 16gb for Christmas. Its a sweet piece of hardware but I am a little upset there is no option for video to play continuously. They allow playlists, but not like the 3GNano where it plainly lists the each particular video playlist and when it is opened up, it shows all the videos. On the Touch, it shows each video together in the playlist along with the rest of the videos. But the playlist feature on the Touch is useless because the videos cannot be played continuously.

Otherwise there are no complaints with the Touch.

There is a way now to make a partail video playlist since the 2.0 update. The playlist has to include atleast one music video or music file and then you can add any other video files like music videos, tv shows and movies. The video playlist will show up in the music folder and will be able to play the video files in landscape or portrait mode.

I finally found out how to make a continuous video file for the IPOD-TOUCH. Not even the Apple store new how to do it... Maybe I need to work for Apple huh. Well it is plain and simple....... 2 EASY BABY!! Make a Playlist folder and start it with the letter A That way you will not have to scroll to the top of the play list folders. Highlight all of you videos, just like you do your songs and right click and add them to the folder you just created. ( The A folder). Then click and hold the A folder and move it to the Purchase folder. Then open your Purchase folder and all of your video will be there. I have upgraded to the new ver of software for the IPOD TOUCH. I dont know if the old ver will work or not. When you sync your TOUCH make sure you check the Purchase folder as well. When you are finished go to your music screen (on your IPOD TOUCH) and touch the purchase folder, you will see shuffle. And there you have it brudda. Have fun... You dont need to have a music file with the videos.. Just put them all in one folder I found out it is easier to put it in the purchase folder...
